Yes. We offer a pick up option for our Calgary, Alberta orders. Pick up is located in the South East community of Auburn Bay. Please select the “pick up” shipping option and we will email you with the date, time and address when your order is ready to be picked up (1-3 business days).
At this time, we only offer delivery of our donated ‘Child Loss’ Bereavement Boxes to the Albert Children’s Hospital Rotary Flames House- 18 Children’s Drive NW Calgary, Alberta. The recipients of our gift can schedule a pick up time, at the Rotary Flames House, with the Grief Support Coordinator.
We recommend sending it right away. When someone is grieving the death of a loved one it is important to acknowledge what has happened as soon as possible. In our experience, acknowledgement makes things better even if it can’t make things right.
Our Bereavement Boxes are also a perfect gift to send months or years later, on anniversaries, birthdays or just because. Grieving is a life long journey: your gift will serve as a reminder that you acknowledge this fact and you are still thinking about the deceased person.

We would be happy to help. When writing a condolence/sympathy message we recommend avoiding the use of clichés. Take your time, choose your words carefully and speak from the heart and whenever possible say his/her name.

Yes. If you would like to add additional items to a curated box simply visit our ‘Build Your Own Box’ section and select the additional items you would like. We will gladly add them into your curated Bereavement Box.
No. Our Bereavement Boxes are available as a way to offer support to someone who is grieving ANY type of loss including the loss of a grandparent, parent, spouse, sibling, child, pregnancy (miscarriage & stillbirth) friend or other family member.
We also have a selection of boxes that are specifically designed to support children who are grieving.
Yes. Once your order has been shipped we will send you a Canada Post tracking number.

With regards to our donated ‘Child Loss’ Bereavement Boxes, we define the term ‘Neonate’ as the infants first 28 days of life.
With regards to our donated ‘Child Loss’ Bereavement Boxes, we define ‘recently’ to mean the first 6 months after the child has passed away.
